I wonder why MATH TEACHERS at Franklin High School haven't heard about this?

See the post of Board Meeting of October 1 2008, where you will find a reference to the staff's discovery (thanks to Director Bass) of the requirement in the Board Policy that the textbook adoption committee have members of the public on it.

The Staff made this discovery slightly before the 516th Columbus Day ... another great discovery ... will SPS pick a math series this time or be lost in the West Indies (of reform math like k-8)?

The Deadline has been moved to October 28th.

You can find out how this took place

Again the disorganization of SPS is startling.
