Happy Holidays (Whatever Your Reason For the Season)
Best wishes for a happy, joyous and safe holiday season (and Festivus for the rest of us).
And all the best to you, Melissa! The solstice is behind us, the days are getting lighter now...May they be warmer, also, for you and yours. And that goes for EVERYBODY else who reads/writes on the wonderful Save Seattle Schools blog!
Yes, double thanks for the gift of a venue to say what's on my mind and discuss education generally. I wish teachers from all levels had a good blog to talk about the things Dan and I have discussed. I think teachers have ideas but no forum or platform from which to speak.

Thanks for the gifts of your facts and opinions year-round, SSS readers and "commenters" (is that a word?).
Yes - my thanks as well - I learn so much from this blog, and will be reading closely as the sup search begins!

to Northender and all the others,
Parents and teachers have "the" most important job; make it joyful. Wishing everyone the best.
When you care enough to discuss education issues you might be here.
