SPS Skills Center Still Accepting Applications for Fall 2012‏

Shepherd Siegel with Career and Technical Education in Seattle Public Schools wants you all to know that the District is still accepting applications for this Fall’s opening of the skills center.

Students who are 16 years old or have at least 10 credits, are eligible for programs in Aerospace Science and Technology; Cisco Networking / Microsoft IT; Medical Careers; or Digital Animation and Game Design.

See your counselor right away to enroll, because the Seattle Public Schools Skills Center is where school gets real.

This is a great program. College is not for everyone. Some kids want to learn a trade and get right to work earning 30, 40, 50k/year out of high school and skip the $150k debt the a four year degree will bring.

I know I did. West Sound Skills Center set me up with a rewarding profitable career.
