Despite the models success, many promising charter schools
have run into issues, many of them on the financial management and operational side. Most charter school founders and operators are educators, not lawyers, administrators, or finance managers. Innocent errors in charter petitions, budgets,
or in planning have led to significant challenges, often hindering a school’s success. In the worst cases, charter
schools have been forced to close their doors, even though they were academically successful. CSMC’s goal is to prevent financial and operational closures by providing charter schools with a range of cost-effective, high-quality business services.

CSMC is the largest provider of back office services to charter schools in the nation, with more than 50 employees 135 schools
throughout the country. While we are continually examining new opportunities to support charter school growth and outreach into
other areas of the country, CSMC currently provides services in the following ten states:

· Arizona · California · Colorado · Florida · Hawaii
· Indiana · Louisiana · Nevada · Ohio · Wyoming

CSMC is committed to empowering charter schools and their leaders to create and lead successful, innovative charter schools,
and have the experience, personnel and resources to make it happen. With our background in school development, budget, operations, and financial management, CSMC can free you to lead your team toward your core mission: educating your students.
Find more: Charter School ManagementAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02614514484560560782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28765366.post-64108982443000500322013-09-06T08:36:15.476-07:002013-09-06T08:36:15.476-07:00If the same standards apply to straight, curly, or...If the same standards apply to straight, curly, or kinky hair, no problem.

However, the standards written are specific only to kinky hair, hence they should be sued for large amounts of money.

A technically correct standard would be, Annie, Lucille Ball, or Malcolm X type hair shall not extend more than 2" above the scalp. My deepest apologies to her and her family and the community of African Americans. This is racists, perhaps not intentionally, but it was and is.

My son isn't part of the boy scouts. He wants to be. His best friends are. They discriminate, so, even thought we aren't gay, we won't participate in this institution.

If this happen at my school, you bet I would rally parents to clarify this policy. Dread locks, or braids/corn rows, are not faddish.

Sad.

And the funny thing is, I bet the policy was conceived to ensue no kid (likely WHITE), would show up with a 12" pink Mohawk, shaved on the sides...

I am so, so sorry that is kind of physically-based discrimination is even *attempted*.

Perhaps Michelle Obama and her daughters will hear about this, and the kids will choose to go dread; then they could all 'drop in' at the school.

Oh, please, oh please, oh please; wouldn't that just be the best?

-here's hopingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
