Thank You

As we approach the end of the year, I just want to say thank you to all the readers and commenters on the blog.  Even when I disagree with you, as a teacher, I appreciate your desire to make Seattle Public Schools as a good as it can be.  I know you all want what is best for your child.  I know it seems like the district does not seem to care, but know that at the school level, the teachers do care and are doing their best to help educate your child.  I know we are not perfect and yes, I know we can do better, but we do have the best interest of your child at heart.

Personally, I have a great job, I work with really great and dedicated faculty members and an administration that has to me, been nothing but supportive.  I am fired up to get back to school.

I finally want to say thanks to Melissa.  Without her dedication, we would be no where.  Please continue.  The students of the Seattle Public Schools need your advocacy.

May your 2018 be your best year yet!

Thank you Michael!!
On this blog many parents outline their reasons for going to private school. You and teachers like you are absolutely the reason we chose public school! Happy Holidays!

My opinion is we have a great if not the greatest school district in the world!

Thanks to all the teachers, support staff and administrators who seem to me to be trying day in and day out to make a better world for all of us by helping educate the youth.

Thank-you, thank-you , thank-you!!!

There is still time to donate to your favorite school and get a tax deduction.I'm still not sure if we can deduct it after this year.

I am donating some money to all the teachers we've ever had since after this year they will not be able deduct the money they spend on students, and most teachers in SPS spend their own money on sundries.

So email them a gift card from AMazon or Walmart and you can get a tax write off even if they can't!

I echo what RamParent said. Thank you so much Michael. You and teachers like yourself are indeed the reason we also chose public school. I continue to be amazed at the dedication of many of SPS teachers. Resources are so lean, class sizes very high and they are super human beings in my opinion. Happy Holidays!

Thank you for your sincere post. We are all imperfect, it is true. But I have long been communicating with people who gave the child to your school. They think that you really try and do everything possible. Perhaps you would like to do more but not always everything depends on us.

It doesn't matter which form of validcbdoil you choose, the most important thing is to choose the method that works best for you.
