The APP Advisory Group will have its first meeting of the year next Tuesday, October 6 at the library of Washington Middle School, 6:30-8:00 pm. Our agenda will include an Advanced Learning report from Stephen Martin, who heads up Advanced Learning Programs for SPS, and an overview of topics for the year ahead. Two stories were on NPR this morning on what they call "gifted and talented" education. They pretty much mirror what we see here in Seattle Schools.
