Well, at least I have company (in the personal attacks department.) I am part of a coalition group for public education - Parent Coalition for Student Privacy - and I wrote them about my issue. Guess what? Apparently (and quite suddently), it is happening to other advocates all over the country. Almost makes you think is coordinated and paid for. As transgendered student news (sadly, focused mostly around the issue of use of bathrooms) has been a topic around the country, I realized that there are two very different pediatrics groups that have very similar names but very different viewpoints. One is the American Academy of Pediatrics which has been the gold-standard for infant/child care founded in 1930. The other is the American College of Pediatricians founded in 2002 which has a very conservative viewpoint. And if you look at what each says about transgendered children, it's quite a clear divide - AAP v ACP. Don't get confu...
