UW Grad Students Looking for Volunteers for Practice Assessment

 Via Facebook:

Hi everyone, my name is Camille Baguley. My roommate, Bronte Cichlar, are 2nd year school psychology graduate students at the University of Washington (go Huskies!).

We are currently taking a course focused on assessing children in the areas of reading, writing, and math. This course requires us to recruit school age volunteers in grades K-12 to participate in a practice assessment. Anyone can volunteer unless they are likely to be tested in school this year as part of a special education evaluation.

This assignment is purely to gain experience administering an assessment so all results will be confidential and will not be shared. We are able to offer gift cards, movie/ museum tickets, or free babysitting as compensation for the time it would take to complete the assessment.

If anyone is interested/knows any families who might be, you can reach out to me via messenger, text me at (650)248-3613 or email me at bagulc@uw.edu. You can also feel free to reach out with any questions about the process.

We would really appreciate any volunteers to assist us with completing this course requirement and gaining skills to help us in our future work as a school psychologists! 🙂
