School Bus Safety
To note, I believe there will be more cameras on more buses this year. It's a pretty big fine so do the right thing and keep kids safe!
Via OSPI:
It's back-to-school season, and that means the wheels on thousands of school buses across Washington are going round and round!
Since 2011, school bus drivers nationwide have participated in a one-day survey to determine how many motorists illegally pass stopped school buses.

More than 3,000 drivers in Washington participated in this year's survey. During the one-day survey, Washington school bus drivers documented 1,156 instances of drivers illegally passing a stopped school bus. Multiplied by the number of days in the school year, the survey results indicate that drivers are illegally passing a school bus in Washington state more than 200,000 times per year!

Keep kids safe! Use caution and patience, and, when in doubt, stop!
