Parent Day
Saturday, November 23, 2024
National Association for Gifted Children is bringing their annual convention to Seattle this year! NAGC warmly invites parents, grandparents, and caregivers to experience a special event created especially for them!
NAGC24 Parent Day is a one-day event that gives caregiving adults the tools, resources, and networking opportunities they need to support their gifted and talented children.
Plan to attend an exclusive 2-hour program, and then experience all NAGC has to offer by choosing from NAGC24’s Saturday afternoon sessions in 16 topic tracks, attending informal idea sharing roundtables, and visiting the Exhibit Hall. Topics include:
- Understanding giftedness, traits, characteristics, and behaviors
- Supporting the social-emotional and mental health needs of your gifted child
- Ensuring your child is challenged inside and outside the classroom
- Working with your school and/or district to support your child
- Building relationships within the family unit and with friends, idea mates, and others
This is an adult-only event, no programs or care available for children.
Fee: $65 per adult
All attendees must pre-register; there is no on-site registration. Registration closes on Friday, November 15, 2024.
