Trump Says Schools are "Flush with Cash"; John Rogers Begs to Disagree

A student-made video on the state of one school in Seattle.

Update: this just in from Education Week:
A vote in the Senate education committee on Betsy DeVos' nomination for education secretary tentatively scheduled for next Tuesday has been delayed by one week. On Friday, Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., the committee chairman, announced that the vote will now take place on Jan. 31 at 10 a.m.
Also, please add your voice against the appointment of Betsy DeVos for Education Secretary.

Senator Patty Murray
Senator Maria Cantwell

I see that Senator Mark "none of your business" Schoesler, was the only Washington State signatory on a letter from elected officials around the country to Senator Lamar Alexander, U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, in support of DeVos.

Speaking of President Donald Trump, San Antonio Spurs coach Greg Popovich had this to say =>
President Trump is a bully and needs to change.

Popovich has a better background than Trump when is comes to Soviet affairs.

He graduated in 1970 from the United States Air Force Academy. He played basketball for four seasons at the Academy and in his senior year was the team captain and the leading scorer. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Soviet Studies, and he underwent Air Force intelligence gathering and processing training. At one point, Popovich considered a career with the Central Intelligence Agency.

Popovich served five years of required active duty in the United States Air Force, during which he toured Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union with the U.S. Armed Forces Basketball Team.
