Florida Sheriff is Getting Tough with Fake School Attack Calls

And now a NOT SPS closure story that out of Florida where one sheriff is sick of prank shooting/bombing calls at schools.

NEW: Florida boy arrested, 'perp-walked' and thrown in jail after bragging about a "k*ll list" and showing off an arsenal of weapons.

Here's the photo the kid published with his threat.

Volusia County Sheriff's Office

"Every time we make an arrest, your kid’s photo is going to be put out there… We’re gonna come and get you. We’re going to put you out for public embarrassment," said Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood.

11-year-old Carlo "Kingston" Dorelli showed his arsenal to classmates and threatened violence. Dorelli was charged with a felony for the written threat of a mass sh**ting.

The sheriff also published a video of the boy being led into the jailhouse with handcuffs on. "For the little b*stards out there who think this is funny, ha ha ha, you want to get on social media: You ain’t that smart… You’re getting caught."

When it comes to this stuff, I'm on the sheriff's side. If a kid takes up valuable law enforcement time AND causes a school to shutdown, it probably would be good to learn about consequences.

I see a 12-year old was arrested in West Seattle in a wild and weird attempted carjacking.

On Aug. 30 at 11:06 a.m., officers responded to reports of an in-air progress carjacking by multiple juvenile suspects in the 4300 block of Holgate St., police said. When officers arrived, they found one of the suspects who was unintentionally left behind by his accomplices, police noted.

Officers also detained a male bystander who was armed with a gun. Police said they later determined the vehicle owner found four or five suspects inside her vehicle and were attempting to steal it. Bystanders and witnesses then confronted the suspects, who exited the vehicle, leaving a cell phone behind, according to Seattle police.

Police said the suspects later returned for the phone and charged at one of the involved individuals. A bystander then fired one or two shots at the suspects' getaway vehicle.

My Roosevelt high schoolers tell me they’ve had a ton of fire alarms tripped (twice in one day recently) by students spraying Febreze in the bathroom smoke detector. Everyone is tired of the disruption and SFD - well everyone - has a better use of time, taxpayer money, and dwindling patience for a stressed out school system. There need to be consequences.
