Meet Superintendent Banda This Week

I had already planned on attending this event but wasn't sure it was open to the public; it is.

To note: still nothing from the Mayor or Councilman Burgess on Superintendent Banda's appointment.  I have to wonder about that and I hope they both show up to this event.

As much as I appreciate the two days' notice, I regret that I will not be able to attend as I have a prior engagement.

Why does Tom Stritikus, the UW's TFA cheerleader, keep popping up at these sorts of things? Aren't there other ED deans the UW could send down? Must we have Dean TFA?

WHY is he popping up at these things? Because he's connected to the Alliance, and Frank Greer et al?
hmm....

It does make me nervous that 3 of the speakers are Sara Morris, Tom Stritikus, and DeBell.

Melissa

Thanks for passing on this information. It's important that as many of us show up to welcome and support Mr. Banda.

I tried to reserve a spot this afternoon but was denied. They are at capacity.

My RSVP was also denied. Makes me suspect that the Alliance and other heavyweights are trying to position themselves so they can corrupt Mr. Banda with their ed reform. Ugh!

Would be a great place to flyer against Teach for America and Decline to Sign I-1240. Greer would pop an artery. : o

Did you get a spot Melissa?
I did get a spot as I heard about this earlier but was confused over whether this was invitation only. I would have put it up much sooner if I understood it was open to the public.

I will be delighted to attend and let you know how it goes.

Well, you deserve to go and at least we will all get a good report.
