Tim Burgess Dropping Out of Mayor's Race

Just announced.  Details to come.

From the press release (partial):

"It is critically important that we elect a new Mayor. However, with so many qualified candidates in the field, my continued candidacy may dilute the chance of achieving the positive change Seattle needs. After much deliberation, I have chosen not tocontinue as a candidate. Instead, I will continue to serve this city that I love from my position on the City Council, the most rewarding job of my life. "

He probably dropped out because his reception from the public hasn't been favorable.
His reception from Carr, Martin-Morris and DeBell was very favorable LOL.

Almost certainly the case. You only have to think of the inverse to see why:

If he was polling well with the public at large, would he drop out? Not a chance! So, logically...
