Middle School - "Iron-Gated Prison"?
Had to pass this on - the topic for This American Life on KUOW at 11 am tomorrow (10/13), will be...middle school.
It's a tough age and, for parents, the shortest period of time that your child will spend at any one school.
And, in the old days, if you wanted to spread a rumor about someone, you had to make phone call after phone call (not that I ever did).
Now, it's post it on Facebook and the whole WORLD will hear about it. I honestly can't imagine seeing a personal lie printed where the whole world can see it when you are just 12 years old.
